I'm setting up a Commissions. I thought it be better this price wise.

Sword, Shields and Boomerangs: $1.00

Give me the details like this This sword has a blade styled to resemble a thorn. The guard is rectangle-shaped. Its grip is wrapped with blue leather.

Tell me the basic shape of the shield and what goes on it.

Boomerangs same as sields.

VL Icons: .47

Ten cents for a VL Icon. Just give me a link to the character I'm designing it for.

Trading Cards: .50

Fifty cents each. Give me a pic of who you want on it, The Effect Text, the Flavor text and the title.

Hand Drawings: $2.00

Give me a example of the thing you wish me to draw. I can do a modified Paper Mario inspired style or the style that is shown in Zenith.EXE's image.

A Favor for a friendHey all,
May has been a hectic month for me as always. Bad emotions are tied to this month like no other and for that reason as well as a certain Harvest Moon like game I've been rather "slow" on progress.
Even so I plan on getting some work done this week and speaking of work I need to ask all of you a small favor.
A friend of mine is in the custom Lego business. That is he produces custom capes and in the near future will also be featuring custom printed mini figures designed by yours truly. Trouble is sales have been a bit slow for him and he's in need of some exposure.
So I have to ask if you got the time check out the store and if you don't build or collect Legos and know someone who does tell em about us.

Why was I not informed?!!That Comic Conventions were such a blast?! Hahaha I kid I knew it was off to a good start the moment I saw the Storm trooper heading inside. There was so much to do but I was a bit under prepared so I didn't see everything. But I got some good stuff, A set of D20 and a D12 dice, Some third party Lego parts and Mini figures and a few comics.
Plus I was able to promote my friend Brandon's Lego store which means more commission work for me and more orders for him. All in all it was epic and I will go again next year and this time with more money and more stamina in my legs.
Anyway I got to hit the hay. I'll be doing another journal tomorrow that I promised to do and then I'm going to work on projects and other junk.

I'm Heading to my first con!Yup you guys read that right. The Plokster is heading to a Comic Con. I only found out about it through a friend of Liz my dad's girlfriend and since it's within driving distance I bought me a ticket and I'm going to be with some of my fellow Nerds (I am a self-proclaimed Nerd and to me the term is not a insult but a badge of honor.) In a day of adventure and possible photo opps and awesome merch.
Was going to go in costume but my budget was low and I only knew about it three months in advance. but rest assured next year I will be going again and this time I will be Snooping as usual.
The fun is set for Saturday. Going to be a long long day that day and it's not the con that is going to do it. My pop also has a late night band gig that night so I may just crash while I watch the pups that evening.

Notice I do not give Llama Badges and updateI've been fair. I've given to friends and those who have had a birthday at the time but I got to lay the line down. If you give me a llama badge and have not commented, are a friend, or it's your birthday you will not be get one back.
I am not trying to be a jerk but I find it a bit rude to find someones DA at random and without saying anything without so much as a comment or a fave having the nerve to ask for a new badge for your collection. I don't collect Llamas here so I have no need of them. Giving them to me for my birthday thats fine and a nice gesture when you only want to be a friend. But don't randomly give me one without a reason other than getting one back.
Sorry for the rant. I guess just seeing that number on my messages change up top gets my hopes up. I hope to see someone say something to either help me out or to say they like something. But then I see a Llama Badge.
Anyway I'm still open to commissions for sprites. I've been doing some freelance designs for someone but

Yup I got my replacement Pc from Best Buy and have it ready to roll. I've been trying to get used to my new screen and sitting arrangements. My current chair is a bit rough on the tail bone. But it's almost perfect a chair. Even if it is a Milk Crate with A sheet covering and a couple pillows to act as cushions it's the right hight for my desk and all.
Also it's only a temporary set up. Next month I'm going to look int a proper chair with padding. Maybe a beanbag chair would work. Hmm be a bit afraid I'd pop it. XD Well thats next month.
This mont on the other hand is for cleaning up my HD. Bugger it but when I transfered my files over from my External HD I got a bunch of duplicate files. All of em were like this "File_Name_(#)" so I got to go through and mass delete redundant files. Glad I found that app today but the shere volume of how many files I'm going to be removing at a time has me Defraging my HD every night.

Computer troublesWell turns out I am very glad I got that two year warranty. I finally setup everything in my room and boot up the Pc. Darn thing makes a clicking sound and won't boot properly. So I run BIOs and get the message S.M.A.R.T bad, backup and replace. Blasted HDD was buggered.
Took the thing back to best buy to exchange it for a working one and now I got to wait till the 2nd to pick it up as it had to be ordered. Bright side they tried everything to help me get a new one today. When I pick it up on the 2nd I'm not leaving till I know it will boot.
Yep I'm going to be that guy and have them open it plug it in and run it till it gets to desktop properly. Not going to was more gas than I have to.

A mighty gift from those passedHey everyone I got Some interesting news to tell. As you all know my Grandparents passed last year and I miss them very much. But last night I got one last Birthday gift from them. I can't thank em enough for it either. Sounds a bit strange so far well let me explain.
A few nights ago my aunt called me and told me my Grandparents had left me a bit of money in their will. So she offered to take me out for dinner and a shopping tipp so I could use the money as my Grandparents wanted. Thanks to them I was finally able to purchase a new game Pc.
I hope they will be proud of me putting it to good use cause I'm not just going to play games but to expand my skills to a new level. Now that I have the new machine I'm going to learn 3D modeling and animation. This along side my spriting skills are some of the tings I've always wanted to do.
I told my Aunt that I would of given all that money for another day with Grandma, Grandpa and my mom. But money isn't the Dragonballs nor is it a way to get

A guide on making an art portfolio.Hello! Very often people ask me to review their portfolio, often enough to detect a certain pattern of wrong choices that cause potential proffecional artists to sit longer on the side bench than necessary.
The following article serves as a guideline but in no way it it the absolute truth or only route into getting yourself a concept art position or illustration job. See it as a checklist, before approaching your dream job.
It's the big artist dream to simply paint what you like and be able to sell that and make a ton of money so you can simply keep making what you like. Even though there are some artists out there that are pretty much living this dream reality, it is incredibly rare.
When you want to be an artist working for commercial things like: movies, video-games, tabletop games, tv-shows, graphic novels etc, you have to inevitably compete with tons of other great artists. A lot of those artists don't know how to market themselves though.

Exactly one year ago, I was alone in my room, crying. Panicking about what was going to happen in a few hours. I was going to leave behind the only life I knew.
One year ago, I was covered in grease, sweat and dirt. I showered once a month. I barely ate. My clothes and bedding were never washed. I was awoken or kept up every night by my drunken mother who would scream at me for no reason. Every night ended in tears until I passed out from exhaustion. I know she tried to be a good mom, and it was my fault she started drinking in the first place.
I had known :iconchillaid: for five years prior. We had gotten close in 2013 over Animal Crossing: New Leaf. We both found each other at the right time. Our friendship flourished from there. We roleplayed every night and bonded so much. We got so close. I considered her my sister.
:iconchillaid: would hear what my mom would do over Skype. She would stay up with me for the entire night comforting
