Warren the French Box Tank

Description

First non-British loco design I've sprited and I have another soon. Of particular not is Warren's face is based off of the French Engineer Anatole Mallet who if you know your steam engines was the creator of the Compound Cylinder system as well as the Articulated frame for larger locomotives. Also unlike his prototype Warren does not have a Shunter panel on his front and he has a cab inspired by Talyllyn of the railway of the same name I just thought it suited him more than the open air his class typically had. As seen here wikiplm.railsdautrefois.fr/wik…

I know what your thinking and yes I have been on a locomotive spriting spree as of late. I have been spriting these engines as references for learning to 3D model. As I said with Bennett Bell these sprites are all drawn in a true modeling scale size and with that in mind I can enlarge them and have the end result be in scale.

I have a couple more I'm going to be finishing/making before I take a break from spriting Locomotives and get back to making my Transformers sprites. Rest assured I still have them in the works and I will be making Transformers: Roll Out ASAP In the interim I am working on other things such as my first true Commission for sprite art. My problem is I need to get better at scheduling so I can work on each bit for a set number of days then work on some for another. To keep myself flexible and less prone to procrastination.

Anyway I also have a project that has been many years in the works comming soon. It was mentioned a while back with my picture of June the New build Neilson.

I've never seen sprites in a style like this before.
